The day was overcast to begin with.  Not thinking I'd get many good shots of the city, I took my camera with me on my visit to the Northwestern campus anyway.  The fog began to lift and I looked south thinking I may be able to get a few good shots in spite of the gloom.  As it continued to lift, the sky line was left shrouded in the fog while the buildings to the north the city became more pronounced.  The lighthouse at Loyola Beach can be seen near the center of the shot just below the main Chicago skyline.  From a distance, the city can be foreboding, shrouded in mystery.
